"Cocina Estelar" is a tribute by Chef Estrella Jafif to her Middle Eastern roots, life experiences, and recipes that redefine family tradition, taking the reader to innovative places and flavors.
Her inspiration is drawn from the teachings of the most important women in her life, as well as her travels around the world, where she has explored new culinary frontiers and been inspired by cutting-edge culinary proposals.
"For as long as I can remember, cooking has been a central theme in my life. My entire family comes together through food; it's our language," Estrella explains about the origin of her passion. With culinary education in Italy and the United States, she began sharing her knowledge by teaching cooking classes. She then founded her catering company, "Food to Gather," through which she has brought her new culinary concepts to the most exclusive events. Finally, she decided it was time to share her legacy with the world through "Cocina Estelar," a gift for her children and all of us.
Edited by Danaé Salazar, who has a great track record, and featuring the stunning photography of Ana Lorenzana, which can be considered works of art, "Cocina Estelar" highlights the artistic aspect of gastronomy in its fullest expression.
