Within the home, the M8 Cup transforms into a multifaceted element, useful as a desktop utensil holder, a bathroom organizer for toiletries, or a receptacle for various objects. Its utility also shines in outdoor settings, such as camping and picnics, where its durability and ease of handling are invaluable.

Crafted from 26-gauge enamel steel, the M8 Cup is renowned for its superior quality, ranking among the best globally. The non-toxic composition of the cup preserves the authenticity of flavors in foods and beverages, and its ease of cleaning promotes optimal hygiene by preventing the proliferation of bacteria and the retention of odors and residues.

In summary, the M8 Cup transcends its role as a simple kitchen utensil, representing the craftsmanship and timeless quality that defines Utilitario Mexicano. Its versatility of applications, durability, and international recognition make it a standout choice for those who value excellence and versatility in their kitchenware.

About Enamel Steel: The use of enamel steel in Mexico dates back to the 19th century, but it wasn't until the 1930s that it became popular when a thriving artisanal industry was developed for crafting high-quality enamel steel kitchen utensils, becoming a symbol of Mexican culture and identity. For many years, enamel steel was the preferred material for manufacturing kitchen utensils in Mexico due to its durability, resistance to corrosion, and ease of cleaning. However, in the 1980s, its popularity waned as other materials like stainless steel and ceramics began to dominate the market.

Today, enamel steel is being revalued for its beauty, its connection to Mexican culture, its versatility, and its qualities: it's non-toxic, more robust and durable than ceramic and glass, can be used directly over an open flame, doesn't alter the taste of food and beverages, is easy to clean, inhibits the growth of bacteria, and doesn't retain odors or residues.

Care for Pewter

Pewter is an exceptionally strong and durable material. Here are some recommendations to ensure your pewter utensils remain in optimal condition:

Qualities : more resistant than ceramic and glass, non-toxic, does not alter the taste of food, does not retain odors or residues and can be recycled for melting.

Versatile durability : Pewter utensils are suitable for a variety of uses. You can safely use them on stovetops, in ovens, and over an open flame. Please note that a temperature limit of 530°F / 270°C is recommended to preserve their integrity.

Dishwasher and freezer friendly : Pewter utensils are dishwasher safe. You can also store them in the refrigerator or freezer without worry. Their ability to withstand temperature changes is impressive.

Microwave caution : Please note that pewter utensils are not suitable for microwave use. Avoid placing them in this appliance to preserve their quality and prevent damage.

Care and cleaning : To remove tea or coffee stains, apply lemon juice to the surface. To remove stuck-on baked-on food, soak the utensil in warm, soapy water. Avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes that could scratch the pewter. Coat the utensil with a thin layer of oil before cooking or baking to make cleaning easier afterward.
