The Nonoalco-Tlatelolco housing complex, inaugurated in 1964, is one of the most representative works of modern architecture in Mexico. This book compiles the history of the complex, from Mario Pani's original project, through moments in which it has witnessed profound transformations in the city, serving as the site for various sociocultural movements and as an inspiration for diverse artistic manifestations. This publication integrates urban-architectural, social, and cultural perspectives through texts by José Alfonso Suárez del Real, Miquel Adrià, Héctor de Mauleón, and Rubén Gallo. These are complemented by photographs, periodical archives, and the work of different artists that show Nonoalco-Tlatelolco and its evolution over time up to the present day, consolidated as one of the great landmarks of the city.
