About giclée printing. It is the digital inkjet printing procedure that offers a much higher resolution or quality than usual, which is why it is usually used to reproduce original works, generally in a large format. Giclee printing is an exquisite option for a number of reasons. The first is the high resolution it offers, as the machine prints at up to 2,400 dpi, while a home printer does so at 600 dpi. Another reason is the elegant finish it brings. The printing reproduces colors and spot inks (without the presence of screens), giving rise to a result very similar to that which occurs, for example, with direct ink screen printing.
