Six years ago, we started this record label. One of our early releases (all digital at the time) was the self-titled EP by Tank Battalion Attack. This Tulsa, Oklahoma band was formed by Ryan Swafford, Aaron Nigh Herndon, and Daniel Grout. We have decided to reissue this album on cassette; Side A will include the original five tracks, with industrial and apocalyptic rumblings, homemade musical deconstructions, scarce, crushing, and strangely captivating material with just the right touch of subtle melancholy. We loved this back then, and still do. On Side B you'll find 6 new tracks from Roma Dune, the personal project of Aaron Nigh Herndon, which he has been working on since the dissolution of Tank Battalion Attack. Roma Dune shares some of TBA's concrete and gut-punch, with repetition and controlled dissonance as key elements... however, Roma Dune seems to aim for a broader sonic vocabulary. Tank Battalion Attack flirted somewhat with ambient and krautrock, but Roma Dune opts for a more narrative/cinematic form.
