HORN PIKE
HORN PIKE
Carefully selecting horn shells and then working them to create small butter spreaders is an ancient tradition made ethically with Guzerat cattle horn raised for food. After heating the material to make it pliable, it is molded, flattened, and bent to achieve the desired shape. Subsequently, it is cleaned, bleached, and sanded up to five times to smooth it, and then it is polished and waxed to highlight unique nuances and striations. Horns naturally vary in color and pattern.
