BOOK / MEXICO 68 / 18. 100 POSTERS
History / Illustration
This catalog compiles the work of six generations of poster artists, some of whom enjoy great national and international prestige, as well as academics, members of the student committee of '68, and generations of young students who are making their way in this art form. The response and generous participation of all of them, the effort and importance of bringing together a collection of one hundred outstanding artists, and the historical, political, social, and cultural value of this episode in national life leads us to consider this testimony as an exercise in rescuing and continuing individual and collective memory, as an ethical, aesthetic, and intergenerational exercise of justice.
