This is the first poetry anthology by the Californian author published in Mexico. Herrera does not represent a literary movement, but rather a prism where different tendencies converge: an unconventional literary stance, a neighborhood sensibility, postmodern impulses, cross-border postulates, post-Chicano Movement discourses, and explorations with an experimental aesthetic. In his writings, we find a personal and profound voice that seeks to unite ambiguity and paradox with the playful and the political.
