The illustrations on these postcards depict one of the most emblematic architectural complexes of modern Mexican architecture: two houses designed by architect Juan O’Gorman. The Blue House, conceived as Frida Kahlo’s home and studio, and Diego Rivera’s red-orange house.
Both houses are located in the same neighborhood, Colonia San Angelín, in Mexico City. However, in the postcard design, they are shown separately to allow for a more detailed appreciation of each house.
